Kaplin Stewart Meloff Reiter & Stein won a first-impression case when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court held that a municipal moratorium on the development of a property owner’s land during development constitutes a Fifth Amendment “taking.” AJ Fin spread the word in regional business and real estate journals.

Corporate Investing

At Al Paul Lefton Co, AJ Fin headed the corporate business expansion account, Locate In Scotland (LIS), publicizing in the U.S. business press the benefits of corporate expansion into Scotland.  We developed a marketing plan distinguishing Scotland from its competitors and wrote industry-specific case studies that were published in the business and technology media, including The New York Times, Time Magazine, Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times and Reuters.


Consumer Interest

Sports apparel mogul NIKE alleged breach of trademark for using a dance style in the sports mogul’s televised advertising campaign.  AJ Fin spread the word and caught the interest of editors who cover sports and human interest.
